Question:As of today, less than 1 percent of all COVID-19 vaccines that have been distributed around the world has gone to the poorest countries. This enormous inequality in vaccine distribution reflects structural inequalities that have existed in the global system for a long time. Use global perspectives and other concepts from the course to explain how existing structural inequalities are impacting patterns of vaccine distribution. Use concepts such as colonialism, nationalism, imperialism, human rights, and global governance, among others. Why does vaccine inequality matter? How would you suggest we make the system of vaccine distribution fairer?
