-Living Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
-Living with Major Depression
Instructions:
Once you have chosen a topic, the following information must be included:
  1. A clear introduction to the aim of the presentation.
  2. A statement about the incidence of the mental health issue you are focussing on in Australia.
  3. An overview of the challenges that a person living with this condition may face – this will provide background information about how the person may present to services, the symptoms they may complain of and how these symptoms affect their daily life.
  4. A description of relevant Recovery focussed nursing interventions to assess the needs of the person and assist the person and their family to understand the condition and develop effective strategies to support the person’s recovery.
  5. An outline one current Australian service initiative designed to improve care and reduce the impact of this health condition.
