1. Read Cognitive Psychology Chapters 14 & 15
2. Read all four required articles. 
3. Watch both videos on poverty. 

1. Discuss whether or not cognitive ability equates to intelligence and whether individual differences (i.e., cognitive style, learning style, expertise, life-experience, age, development, or gender) impact cognitive ability (Hint: Chapter 14). (approx. 200 words). 
2. Then, discuss the effect of culture on cognition. In other words, describe how culture shapes the mind and explain whether any cognitions are universal (approx. 200 words).

• All posts should be written in APA style and format and supported with scholarly sources.
• You must include at least FIVE (5) supporting sources from the assigned course materials (i.e., textbook, articles, and videos); however, you are strongly encouraged to seek additional outside material to expand your understanding on course topics.
• Ensure that your post demonstrates that you have read the course materials and viewed the multimedia.
• You must include citations throughout your initial post; both articles, videos, and the textbook must be included.
